How do I begin? What a LONG TRIP! We got to our hotel at 10pm last night (12/10) and slept until 5am after 30 hours of travel. We ate and both fell back to sleep for another few hours. Then we toured the Kremlin and a tourist shopping area that was a couple miles long. We had lunch at Broadway Pizza and noone spoke english. We had pepperoni pizza because that was the only picture we understood. We're surprised at how few people speak English and no signs are in English. Brian's Russian classes have come in handy. When we got to our room we took a deep breath and decided that we were "camping".
Tomorrow we'll visit the Ministry of Education to get approval to go to the orphanage. Hopefully we'll see the boys tomorrow and publish some pictures.
Love to all!!! Spaseba (Thank you) for all your kind words, prayers and support.

Glad you both made it in one piece. It sounds like Lola is having a good time with the 'rents gone. How's the weather? Cold, snowy, sleety here?
Yes it is sure is a long trip! Glad to hear you did leave on Sunday! I guess the passports made it on time! It sounds like you are seeing much of Moscow so far! If you have time, Christ the Savior Cathedral near the Kremlin is very nice inside and out! Can't wait to hear about your meeting with the boys! Won't be long now!!

Praise God for safe travels! It's good to see you on the computer too! I'm anxious to hear from you after the visit with the boys. If you can, ask them both what their favorite color is. We'll keep praying! Love, Den, Lola, et al
Hi Dad & Mom --
I have a new friend in the neighborhood -- it's one of the neighbor girls who just loves me. I've had popcorn & peanuts & lots of attention & play time. I get to sleep in Tom & Den's bedroom - usually on some clothes Den puts on the floor for me. They bring my bed up to the bedroom too at nighttime. It's time for a walk so I have to go. Love,
Lola
